The THT 10-Year Thank You
For ten years, we have never reduced the price of a Hungry Tourist journey. We always believed our tour fees were fair, carefully calculated, and honest about what they hold. And we understood they could not be right for everyone.
To mark our tenth anniversary, we are doing something we have never done before.
off the published tour fee, for anyone who registers for an eligible THT group journey departing from August 2026 onward, whose required deposit is received in full by December 31, 2026.

Then this is for you first. Everyone already holding a place on a future tour receives the same 10%, as THT credit toward the journey after it. You came early. That should count for something.

Some of you have told me: I know I am coming, I just do not know where.
A $2,500 non-refundable deposit holds your thank-you benefit with no tour chosen. Pick your journey when you know, even one we have not announced yet. 2028 counts.
The deposit is applied in full toward the journey you choose, and your 10% is calculated from that tour’s published fee.
The details, worth one minute
- What it covers
- The 10% applies to the published tour fee. Single supplements, room upgrades, flights, transfers, added nights, optional activities, and taxes stay as they are.
- What qualifies
- Every published future group tour qualifies. If a sold-out tour opens a seat, that seat qualifies too. Private journeys are their own world and stay outside this one.
- A deposit for four people creates four thank-yous, one per traveler. They never combine into one larger discount.
- How it works
- Your 10% is calculated from the published tour fee.
- Use it by December 31, 2027. It needs to be applied to a confirmed booking by then; the journey itself may depart later.
- The fine grain
- It combines happily with THT Family credit. It is personal, and stays with the person it was created for.
- Deposits follow our usual terms, the same as always: paid in full. Your 10% is deducted from the balance payment, never from the deposit.
- You may take the benefit on more than one eligible tour, with its own required deposit for each.
- If you cancel, our normal terms apply and the deposit is forfeited. The benefit itself stays with you, for another eligible tour, within its validity.
